roslyn-language-server - Is this supported?

I've been hoping for a long time that Microsoft release an official C# / dotnet LSP that doesn't have prohibative clauses in the licence for other vendors to use.

I see that recently on public GitHub there is roslyn-language-server, however I've not heard any sort of public announcement.

Is this the thing I've been waiting for? 🤞

From what I know, the roslyn-language-server is indeed the official Microsoft-supported Language Server Protocol (LSP) for C# and .NET, designed to work outside of Visual Studio Code. So yes, this is likely what we’ve all been waiting for. (By the way, I’m not a contributor or maintainer.)

This product is supported. That said, it’s early and very experimental. We’re still working out the features, command line and publishing strategy. As a result, releases may be irregular and all aspects of it are subject to change. In the meantime though please file bugs for any issues that you find.
