Upcoming release?

I was updating BC to 1.85 (release date: 12/07/2026) across many applications, and today I noticed that version 1.85.1 has been released (16/07/2026), so I need to start over. In the only release notes I can find (https://github.com/bcgit/bc-java/blob/main/docs/releasenotes.html), I see 1.85 and the upcoming 1.86, but not 1.85.1. Are you planning to release version 1.86 soon? I'm asking because I'd rather not switch to 1.85.1 now only to find out in a few days that 1.86 has been released.

1.85.1 is only to deal with a packaging issue that showed up in the Java 5 to Java 8 release and the Java 4 release (yes, I should add this to the release notes, sorry, will do so shortly).

For Java 8 and later 1.85 is the release.

At the moment we expect to release 1.86 in October/November. I would strongly recommend updating to 1.85 now.
